Functionality and operating modes of GIS-ABP

The GIS-ABP client application can operate in three different modes (the operation mode is selected during the installation of the client application):
• Operator - limited functionality, changing data file settings, editing data and executing most analytical commands are not available;
• Developer - data editing is allowed. Changing the settings of data files and the execution of some analytical commands are not available;
• Administrator - a complete set of functionality. Allowed to change data file settings, edit data, and execute all analytical commands.


Operator
The functionality of the GIS-ABP client application, available in the "Operator" mode:
• Setting application parameters;
• View spatial and attribute data of objects;
• Changing data display modes in the Client application window;
    Display of a hierarchical tree of objects;
    Status bar display;
    Map display (spatial information);
    Display of tabular data (attribute information);
• Apply filters to spatial and attribute data;
• View, enable and disable map layers;
• Display of historical and forecasted data taking into account the time interval;
• Execution of the Enter command;
    Display the geometry of the object within the borders of the map window;
    Display of layer objects within the borders of the map window;
• Printout;
• Map control (spatial representation of information);
    Selecting an object on the map for viewing attribute information, or editing;
    Zoom In command;
    Zoom Out command;
    Select Area command;
    Pan command (Hand);
    Move the map with the mouse wheel;
• Editing data of Sketch type layers (draft);
• Execution of built-in commands designed for the “Operator” application mode;
• Working with raster files;
Developer
In the "Developer" mode, all the functionality available in the "Operator" mode is available, as well as:
• Editing spatial and attribute data of layers of type DataFlie;
    Placing a new object on the map;
    Editing the attributes of an object;
    Editing the geometry of an object;
• Editing relationships established between data file objects;
• Execution of built-in commands designed for the application mode “Developer”;
Administrator
In the "Administrator" mode, all the functionality available in the "Developer" mode is available, as well as:
• Creating, deleting, editing layers (data files);
• Creation, deletion, editing of attributes (fields);
• Editing styles and other geometry display options;
• Editing the types of relationships established between data file objects;
• Execution of built-in commands intended for the operation mode of the “Administrator” application;
Embedded functionality
The functionality of the GIS-ABP can be expanded through built-in commands. To create an embedded command (custom command), you need the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment and the C # programming language.
